- Make it congruent with your ad. Most important.
- Keep it clean. Not too much info. No videos. Keep images light (use .jpeg’s). All you want to do is to get visitors to perform a certain action, be it subscribing to an email list, or clicking through to an offer. Too much colour and movement will distract them.
- Have a strong call to action. (CTA)
- Keep everything “above-the’fold”. In other words. your headline, opt-in box, CTA, should all be visible to the visitor, without them having to scroll down to see it.
- Test! Split test your landing pages, work on one element at a time. E.g. test colour schemes, fonts, headlines, sub-headings, optin-boxes, CTA’s. Always keep striving to improve click through/optin-in rates.
The higher the CTR the better the quality score.
