The MAC address is an important element of computer networking. MAC addresses uniquely identify a computer on the LAN. MAC is an essential component required for network protocols like TCP/IP to function. Computer operating systems and broadband routers support viewing and sometimes changing MAC addresses.

In short the answer will be you can't. It is usually not possible for a person to get the MAC address of a computer from its IP address alone. These two addresses originate from different sources. ... Using ARP, each computer maintains a list of both IP and MAC addresses for each device it has recently communicated with.

IP address is the “Network” layer (layer 3) address, which is used for transmission of packets over the Internet via routers. MAC addresses are “Data Link” layer (layer 2) used for LAN switching to an actual device.

Both MAC addresses and IP addresses are meant to identify a network device but in different ways. A MAC address is responsible for local identification and an IP address for global identification. This is the primary difference between a MAC address and IP address, and it affects how they differ in their number of bits, address assignment and interactions. The MAC address is only significant on the LAN to which a device is connected, and it is not used or retained in the data stream once packets leave that network.
