That must be why they're ranking better in the organic results." None of that is true. So there's a bunch of protections in place. They have a real wall at Google between the paid side and the organic side.

There have been multiple studies that have demonstrated that SEO impacts how many clicks PPC ads receive. Google has found that when a site has strong organic search results, they will increase their click-through rate for their PPC ads on the same SERP.

Advertising does not directly affect your website's organic search rankings. This is a very common misconception, but the reality is, SEO does not directly impact AdWords, and AdWords does not directly impact your SEO

No, PPC won't affect the SEO rankings. but it may help with branding and it can increase your direct visitors.
