How do you eliminate duplicate content from being indexed by Google?

Avoid publishing stubs: Users don't like seeing "empty" pages, so avoid placeholders where possible. For example, don't publish pages for which you don't yet have real content. If you do create placeholder pages, use the noindex meta tag to block these pages from being indexed.

Recognize duplicate content on your website.
Determine your preferred URLs.
Be consistent on your website.
Apply 301 permanent redirects where necessary and possible.
Implement the rel=”canonical” link element on your pages where you can.

Not creating duplicate content.
Redirecting duplicate content to the canonical URL.
Adding a canonical link element to the duplicate page.
Adding an HTML link from the duplicate page to the canonical page.

Either we have to replace it with unique content OR delete that webpage & redirect to another one. https://bit.ly/3hCgBHs
