Hello Friends,

Robot.txt file is used to instruct the crawler on which pages to crawler and which not to. In Wordpress site robot.txt file is located in root folder.

Another way is by using the Google Search Console which is also known as the Google Webmaster tool.

Log into Webmaster Tools.
On the Dashboard homepage, click “Site Configuration” from the left side menu pane.
Click on “Crawler Access” and then select “Remove URL“
Click on “New removal request“
Type the full URL of the page you want to remove from the search results.

The first thing you need to do is go to the Remove outdated content page. You will have to log into your Google account and enter the web address of the page that contains the outdated content you want to be removed. Then you click “request removal” and one of two messages will appear.
