Hello,

Yes, a new website will always start with the domain authority of 1.

Brand-new websites will always start with a Domain Authority score of one. Because Domain Authority is meant to be a predictor of a site's ranking ability, having a very high DA score shouldn't be your only goal.

every 3-4 weeks
Most updates from Moz are fairly minor (every 3-4 weeks) and usually will not have a pronounced impact on your score

Its logarithmic scale means that it's much easier to improve your score if your domain authority is at a 20 or a 30 than if it was at a 70 or an 80. Domain authority between 40 and 50 is considered average, between 50 and 60 is considered good and over 60 is considered excellent.

No, if you registered a renew domain that someone already used, can have good DA.
