The Google Search index contains hundreds of billions of webpages and is well over 100,000,000 gigabytes in size.
Bingbot uses an algorithm to determine which sites to crawl, how often, and how many pages to fetch from each site. The goal is to minimize bingbot crawl footprint on your web sites while ensuring that the freshest content is available.

Crawling is the discovery of pages and links that lead to more pages. Indexing is storing, analyzing, and organizing the content and connections between pages.

Bing's main weaknesses come up when you use it for marketing purposes. That's because it's used far less compared to the Google search engine. The reason behind this is mainly due to brand familiarity. Note that most Google users are typically younger and tend to spend a good amount of time browsing.

Google is clearly the leader in the Search space and a very mature and sophisticated search engine. They do a remarkable job of indexing a wide variety of content. Bing, on the other hand, is still in its infancy and has yet to develop some of the rich indexing capabilities that exist with Google. Some of the more compelling differences between how Google indexes websites verses how the Bing crawler operates include Canonical Requirements, Page Size , 301 & 302 Redirects, Meta Refreshes and Backlink Requirements.

Because both search engines used their own search algorithm for rankings.

Google and Bing Search Features
The main difference between Google and Bing's search features is that Bing provides a much better video search results page. Bing's video page provides a grid view of large thumbnails instead of Google's vertical list of small thumbnails.
