The web hosting market is becoming more and more competitive, since 2001 new hosting companies are popping up at a rate of over 1000 a year.
Most of them are reseller’s without real know-how and financial capacity. In fact very few of them make it for more then a year.
But out there, there are still millions of potential web site owners – travel agencies, hotels, schools, small and medium business, exporters, the list is never-ending. And what about Asian and African markets, how many people have credit cards to pay online in these two continents, even between the rich?
The CEO of Hosting Marketers in a recent interview said:” The only solution for web hosting companies is to go out there and look for customers; the time when customers came to us is over. My company as recently opened a web hosting & design office in Italy and we are looking to find ways of opening such agencies in Africa, at the moment we finalizing an agreement in Ethiopia, and we hope to do the same thing in other African countries.”
Of course it is not easy, the banking systems are quite undeveloped and to transfer money from there it is a Kafka story, but it seems that it could be a road to prosperity for Web Hosting Provider (http://hosting-marketers.com/).
