LCP is a measurement of how quickly the main content of a web page renders on a device. Other ways are page speed or load time. Websites should load under 3 seconds 2 is better. It keeps bounce rate down because most people will leave a website if it i slow to load and they do not find information they want fast.

Hello Friends,
Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) is a part of Core Web Vitals. LCP measures the largest content element of a web page that is visible on the viewport. It is mainly used to check the loading speed of the main content of a web page. Apart from this, these elements also measure video poster images, background images, paragraph tags, etc.

LCP is a measure of how quickly the main content or element of a web page renders on a device. If your website is set up with a Google Search Console profile you can find out what Googlebot thinks of your LCP, as well as the FID and CLS in the Core Web Vitals report.
