This cannot be answered in few words, Because this depends on the types of website you want to move, if it is some static pages, just download all and upload it to the root folder .that is public.html. You you are moving a cms, probably you will need to move its back-end software and database files. I will explain this with a wordpress site.I will point you the outline of moving and you can get complete information using the link provided at the end.

Take a back of your existing data. that is wp-content folder & database .
Upload all wordpress files to the new server including wp-content. You can download the other files except wp-content folder from wordpress official site.
Create a new data base to new server.
Import mysql database tables to the new database
Now configure wp-config files with new db name and password.
Now update the name server of your domain of new server. thats it
