If you make a website for one country like uk then buy web hosting that has servers located in that country. If you change web hosting and servers are located in another county search engines see that and consider your site again.

Make sure to buy domain name and web hosting from same hosting provider so you do not let domain name expire or lapse long in case search engines spider it and see site no up. Buy domain names for longer than a year also.
