Page speed is probably the purest of SEO factors, because addressing loading times improves your rankings, your user experience and your conversion rate too. I

Why Page Speed Matters. Page speed is important to users because, well, faster pages are more efficient and provide a much better on-page user experience. Per a recent Kissmetrics infographic, if a page takes longer than 3 seconds to load, over a quarter of users will click away and choose a different search result.

The time it takes to load any website is called the page loading speed of that website. When you go to open any website, it should be open in a few seconds. If a website takes a long time to load, then people will not spend time on the website and instead will click on another website. This way, your traffic as well as sales will be lost.

Page speed or load time is how long it takes for a web page to fully load. In fact, slow-loading pages can actually cost you money. For example, if someone sees your website, but leaves without purchasing because they get frustrated waiting for your page to load, that's money right out of your pocket. Better yet, make sure that your site loads quickly on all devices (i.e., desktop, smartphone, tablet) to make sure all users have a positive experience. If your page takes more than 3 seconds to load, it's considered "slow" and you need a solution!

Page speed is calculated on the basis of time taken by a website while opening, it should be less than 5 second.

Page speed is the amount of time it takes to request a page and have the page completely loaded in the browser. Page speed affects the way users feel about a brand and its products and services. Users expect the same performance on both mobile and desktop. Slow page speeds increase bounce rates.
