Sandbox Google is a mythic algorithm or sanction from Google that does not let new sites get to the top positions of the search engine. It is called mythic because Google has not officially confirmed its existence and has not included it on the list along with Panda and Penguin. You can read more information on the matter in the article Google Algorithms That Affect SEO.

The presumptive sanction of the system was called Sandbox having compared the site with small children that play in sandboxes.
