Not sure if i would want a website that is similar to most of the sites they host. Not sure how much seo you can do to make your site stand out and rank well in search results.

Yes, Shopify hosting is generally considered reliable. Shopify is a leading e-commerce platform that provides a fully hosted solution, meaning they handle the hosting and technical aspects of running an online store for you. They have a robust infrastructure and employ various measures to ensure high uptime and performance.

Shopify operates on a cloud-based infrastructure that is designed to handle a significant amount of traffic and transactions. They have data centers located in different regions to distribute the load and minimize latency. Additionally, Shopify employs advanced caching techniques and content delivery networks (CDNs) to optimize the speed and delivery of your online store's content.

Furthermore, Shopify takes care of security measures, including data encryption, secure payment processing, and regular security updates. They have a dedicated team monitoring their infrastructure and systems to prevent and respond to any potential issues.

While no hosting service can guarantee 100% uptime or be completely immune to technical glitches, Shopify has a strong reputation for reliability and stability. Many businesses of various sizes and scales trust Shopify to host their online stores successfully.

It's worth noting that the reliability of your specific Shopify store can also depend on factors such as the quality of your chosen theme, the configuration of any third-party apps or integrations, and the performance optimization of your store's content. However, in terms of the hosting infrastructure provided by Shopify, it is generally considered reliable.

Depending on where you are in the world, I've noticed Australia in particular its not as fast as if you were accessing it overseas.

Why because CDNs are great but not that good overseas, still a distance to get to the database.

Shopify hosting has 99.99% uptime, considered the gold standard in the industry. It also uses a content delivery network (CDN) with several servers to make sure global website visitors can access your ecommerce store as quickly as possible, no matter how fast you grow.
