Semi dedicated

Need to find a semidedicated account for the site which has been run out of shared one, but has not funds for VPS. The company which is first candidate fo choise id cirtexhosting.com and I need to know about their offers' reasonability and the servers' uptime if possible.

Overall any information would be appreciated.

Why don't consider VPS instead?
Semidedicated is the same as shared web hosting. But VPS is ~ dedicated server.

Semi dedicated is nearly dead, none of the major hosts offer it these days. VPS is the option you have and they are not as costly as you expect. For less than $50, you should get a good VPS, which is cheaper than what Semi dedicated used to be.

Yeah I don't remember seeing anyone offer semi-dedicated servers anymore. Only Reseller/VPS.

If you need this service, I believe you may get it from cirtexhosting. This company has reather good reputation as the hosting market player.
