Hi developers,
I’m building a low-latency API service intended for users in Japan and surrounding regions. The challenge I’m facing is choosing a reliable server location that’s close to Tokyo but without burning a hole in my budget.
Has anyone here used cheap VPS hosting Tokyo (https://aartisto.com/best-vps-hosting-provider-in-tokyo/) services for API or microservices setups? I’m specifically curious about:
CPU steal time or performance consistency on budget Tokyo VPS
IO bottlenecks when running lightweight databases like SQLite or Redis
IPv6 support, some providers still seem behind on this
Would love to hear what setups have worked for you. Benchmark results, tools used, or provider suggestions are all welcome.
I know NetShop Isp offers nice powerful Japan dedicated servers (https://netshop-isp.com.cy/dedicated-servers/japan/) at reasonable rates. You get more than what you pay for!
They have a custom built Data Centers and can accommodate for any specification of server. You'll get unrivaled support, speed, and reliability.
