Responsive web design makes ensuring that websites look attractive and perform well on all kinds of devices, such as phones, tablets, and laptops. It changes the design dependent on the size of the screen by using flexible layouts, pictures that scale, and specific rules called media queries. This makes sure that users have a good time no matter what gadget they are using. Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS are two tools that help developers construct websites that work on all devices. Responsive design is an essential for any modern website in a world where mobile comes first.

does anyone here still use media queries only, or have you started mixing in container queries too? I've been testing them in some newer layouts and they're kind of a game-changer, especially for components reused in different places. Would love to hear how others are approaching modern responsive setups now with all the new CSS features out there.

I had the same confusion earlier, but what helped me a lot was going through real examples of flexible grid layouts and how CSS media queries come into play. There’s a good breakdown of this approach at https://webhivedigital.com/web-design-services/ that shows how modern sites auto-adjust to different screen sizes without needing separate versions for mobile and desktop. Seeing it in action definitely made things click for me.
