Excel contacts cannot be imported directly into email clients like Outlook or Thunderbird. These platforms only support contact formats such as VCF. I first converted my Excel contacts into vCard (https://www.softaken.com/excel-to-vcard-converter) format using Softaken Excel to vCard Converter. After that, importing the VCF file into Outlook was quick and simple. All contact details, including phone numbers and email addresses, were transferred correctly. This same approach works for Thunderbird and other email clients. Converting Excel to VCF is a required step for email client compatibility.

The CubexSoft Outlook Converter (https://www.cubexsoft.com/outlook-export/) supports smooth handling of large Outlook data files and offers flexible options to save the converted data at a user-defined location. With its clean and intuitive interface, the tool can be easily used by both technical and non-technical users. This approach makes changing the Outlook data file location simple, safe, and efficient without risking data loss.
