Hi everyone, I’m planning to launch a small community forum (likely MyBB or XenForo) and I’m a bit new to server management. I expect low traffic initially but want room to grow. Ideally looking for 2 vCPU, 4GB RAM, and at least 80GB SSD storage with decent bandwidth (3–5TB). My monthly budget is around $15–$20. I’d prefer a location in Canada for better CA latency. What are your views on Rightservers.com VPS solutions? Will it be worth trying them? Or any other good vps hosts?
Any beginner-friendly providers would be appreciated.

VPS accounts from just.hosting and legionbox.com can be quite right for meeting all your needs.
Good hosting companies provide good servers at inexpensive prices, and I am satisfied. The design of their websites is really simple, and you can use it without any problems, it's easy enough to pay for it, nothing prevents me from doing it.

Interserver (https://www.interserver.net/vps/)offers 2 vCPU, 6GB RAM, 120GB SSD or 3TB HDD storage, and 6TB bandwidth for around $7.20/month.

It’s not a one-time promo, the pricing is locked for renewals too. You can get the offer price using coupon code JV-20-LIFE.

The VPS infrastructure at hostpro.com is built on KVM virtualization, providing users with dedicated resources and full root access for complex configurations. Their network spans key locations like Tampa, Amsterdam, and Warsaw, which is ideal for optimizing latency. Technically, the backup system is quite robust: daily snapshots are stored remotely for 30 days, allowing for both full-image and file-level restoration without taking up any disk space on the server itself.
