I’m facing a strange issue with Google Drive and wanted to know if anyone else has experienced something similar. A few days ago, I uploaded several PDFs, spreadsheets, and project files from my office laptop. The upload seemed to complete successfully, and I could see the files immediately after uploading. However, when I logged into the same Google account from my home PC, the files were nowhere to be found.

At first, I thought I had uploaded them to the wrong account, but after checking multiple times, everything was linked to the same email address. I searched online and discovered that Google Drive Files Not Showing Up (https://www.data-recovery-solutions.com/blog/google-drive-files-not-showing-up-on-pc/) is a surprisingly common problem. In many cases, it can happen because of sync failures, browser cache issues, storage limitations, or interrupted uploads.

I also noticed that what looked like a G Drive not showing up issue on my desktop was actually related to Google Drive for Desktop not syncing correctly. Restarting the application helped temporarily, but the problem returned later.

Since I work with important client documents, I started looking for ways to safeguard my files. During my research, I came across the **DRS Google Drive Migration Tool**, which some users suggested for backing up and transferring Google Drive data when sync issues become frequent.

Has anyone found a permanent fix for missing Drive files? I'd love to know what worked for you because manually checking folders and refreshing Drive every few hours is becoming frustrating.
