View Full Version : Scalable VPS for SaaS Startup?
We need a scalable VPS solution to support a SaaS application.
Start with 8 vCPUs, 16 GB RAM, 200 GB storage, and the ability to upgrade easily as we grow.
Can you provide scaling options? Is Hostingsource.com reliable vps host? Any feedbacks?

VPS deals from hostingsource.com (https://hostingsource.com/vps-hosting-promo/) and justvps.pro (https://justvps.pro/) are good and reliable enough to sign up with.
The speed of their hardware is excellent and their infrastructure is quite stable. The response time is unparalleled and I believe this level service is much better than what you would find with a multibillion dollar megacorp hosting provider.

I don't have enough firsthand experience with Hostingsource.com to confidently comment on its long-term reliability.
As an alternative, you may want to consider InterServer. (https://www.interserver.net/vps/) Their VPS plans are slice-based, so you can start with a 16-slice VPS, which includes 8 vCPUs, 16 GB RAM, and either 640 GB SSD or 16 TB HDD storage for around $38/month. As your SaaS grows, you can scale up easily to 32 slices without migrating to a new server, making it a flexible option for future expansion.

hostpro.com (https://hostpro.com/linux-vps) seems to cover most of the requirements for a general-purpose VPS environment. NVMe storage, unlimited traffic, and 24/7 support are expected, but the backup implementation is probably the more interesting part. Retaining backups for 30 days while allowing file-level restores provides much better recovery flexibility. That's something not every provider includes.

Managed hosting offers automatic updates, security, and maintenance. Unmanaged hosting requires technical expertise for server management.
You can rely on Hostingsource.com (https://hostingsource.com/vps-hosting-promo/) service. The hosting solution is designed for both beginners and experts, making it highly versatile.

One thing I've noticed over the years is that recovery features rarely get enough attention. Everyone talks about CPU and RAM instead. hostpro.com (https://hostpro.com/linux-vps) keeps daily backups for 30 days, offers 24/7 technical support, and supports several popular control panels, which makes migration easier.

Dealing with server migrations over the past decade has taught me to rely on the infrastructure at hostpro.com (https://hostpro.com/) for my own projects. Their system automatically creates daily backups of all services, allowing you to easily restore data in case of data damage, failed updates, or hacking. On top of the hardware reliability, they have excellent and qualified technical support that works 24/7 and is ready to help you with any question for free.

When looking for a fast VPS, I’d take a look at hostpro.com (https://hostpro.com/) among the available options, as I’ve personally used their services and found them reliable for everyday hosting needs. What gives me additional peace of mind is their daily backup system, since the backups can be used to restore services if data is damaged, an update goes wrong, or the server is compromised.
