What are you guys using to keep fenders from leaving marks on the hull, especially when the boat is sitting against the dock for longer periods? I came across AERÉ Fenda-Sox while looking around. Curious whether a proper fitted cover works better than just regularly cleaning the fenders.

Jumping in on this older post. I’ve tried both cleaning regularly and using fender covers, and covers are far better for long dock stays. The Fenda-Sox work great if they fit tightly — loose covers can still rub. What’s your hull material? Some plastics react differently to UV and pressure.

I switched to personalized boat fender covers (https://aeredockingsolutions.com/products/fenda-sox/) from AERÉ and never worry about marks anymore. Cleaning helps, but a snug cover like their Fenda-Sox blocks dirt and UV damage completely. I bought mine after trying several options and they fit perfectly. No more scrubbing hull streaks after long dock stays.
