Hi
I have purchased www.gruffe.co.uk with a hosting package
My documents are stored (I am using FastHosts) in the htdocs folder.
And so when I go to www.gruffe.co.uk, it is pointed to this folder as the root.
I have now purchased www.intelx.co.uk (going to be a help forum).
Could I now put two sub folders within /htdocs e.g.
/htdocs/gruffe
/htdocs/intelx
And point the sites to these new sub folders as the root? I am not sure how to do this, or if it is the correct method. Fasthosts don't make it clear
Also, what is the true root directory i.e. if i wanted to type it into my browser from the http:// through to the /htdocs/index.html....whats the missing part in the middle, a unique IP number of the hosting account?
Any help appreciated, i'm a programmer but my web/hosting knowledge is not great (as you may have gleaned from the above)
