how to set up anchor text link

I tried asking the question on another post but thought that it might not be on topic.

Was wondering if someone could tell me how to set up the anchor text links that everyones using on their signatures. I understand how to use <a href="your" website url>Your keywords here</a> in regular posts but when i use that in the signature it just shows up as is, not as an anchor text link.

You can add your anchor text link in your signature by using this code:- http://forums.hostsearch.com/misc.php?do=bbcode#url

Some forums accept BB code link HostSearch Forums (http://forums.hostsearch.com) and some forums accept anchor text ahref code as you mentioned above.

Thanks for the info. I'm guessing this is going to work.
Do you know why it says not to BB Code in my signatures setting. Do i have to upgrade my account or do i need to make a minimum number of posts or something?

Use bbcode to create signature :[url]

you can just use the link button in the reply box to create links. no need to use the html format...it will automatically take you links

You need to use Forum site tools to make hyper on your website URL. doesn't need to use your own code.
