I don't think there is really an effect in terms of SEO if you make the anchor text bold or put styles into it. At the end of the day Google is just after the link not the color or so. But as for readers attention, it can be helpful if you have good a signature look.

The second step is to post comments and replys to topics, but not to advertize spam or post to much to apear like spam. The third step is to wait. SEO via anything takes some time and depends on the market you are in. Sometimes a couple days, and sometimes a couple months.
