Is It Advisable to Remove Web Pages From Web Site?

I am working on eCommerce website. On my web site there are many category pages without products.

So, is it advisable to remove that web pages from web site?

All pages were indexed by Google & links are available on home page in drop down navigation, left navigation & footer.

So, Will it create any bad effect on my current organic performance?

My answer is No.
all of your pages are indexed that mean google already registered your internal links that may contain links that decide your SERP in some certain keywords. By removing those pages may affect to your organic search result.

If you won't leave 404 links at your site it will be removed from cache next indexing
