Hosts Torrent trackers

Would like to observe the market of tracker hosts.

Considering santrex.net as the most famous one. Maybe anyone could bring some more information of other providers in order to let me know where to look for the quality and how much does it cost.

I think that you should choose the provider who's datacenter is geographically close to your target audience.

That's not how the hosts file works. If the site *is* on the list, and pointed to 127.0.0.1, the computer can't access it.

Have you already tried to do a search via Google on all possible options?

santrex.net is OK for Trackers. The more so because it has servers in countries where torrents are safely hosted. Good choice IMHO.
