Question relatd to SEO and SMO.

Hi all,
I am Richard Smith, new member to this forum. I have a special interest in Internet and SEO related issue. I have also little idea about SMO. Can anyone explain me what is the major difference between SEO and SMO also which one is more effective for getting high page rank In search engine ???

Both SEO and SMO are good if we use combination of both then surely we get good result.

SEO helps to improve the ranking of keyword in search engine.
SMO helps to get good amount of traffic.
But after you get good ranking in search engine the traffic will automatically get increase.
But SMO helps to increase the cached ratio so that your site get highlighted in search engine.
Search engine visit it on daily bases so use the combination of SEO and SMO.

for good rankings seo is much better option then SMO.
