I just want to know whether the backlink will count only if the profile page is crawled.

I dont know to what extent profile linking works, but high page rank forums can get you a good link juice.

i think u are talking about Social media Profile which we can make for SEO point of view like creation on Digg, and other social media sites and book marking sites yes complete profile always helps when u pinged them
