Keyword density is based on the number of words used in the content. For a 500 words article, you can use 2-3% targeted keywords as a density.

For SEO purpose, you must use 2-3% of keywords as compared to the number of words in a content of webpage.
2 or 3% is ok, but focus on content

You must keep keyword density in your blog 2% to 3% per 100 word mean you can use same keyword or keyword phrase two tor three time in a content of 100 words. It will make your blog interesting for readers.

Formula for “Keyword Density” = (Number of times the keyword repeats in the article / Total number of words in the article)*100

3% keyword density is idle and max to max 4%.
you can use online tools for checking keyword density or can calculate manually by “Keyword Density” = (Number of times the keyword repeats in the article / Total number of words in the article)*100
