The duplicate content can hurt your seo campaign and the page rank too badly. So try to avoid it, as much as possible

Good question and it is now the talk of the town. Content farming is at present gaining importance and many sites have been dropped from the result simultaneously due to duplicate content. try to be original for a safe run in the net because Google is working hard to penalize spammy sites.

duplicate content is the major problem in IT industries. fresh content is always best for search engine users.

Hello,

If you use duplicate content on your website then it might be possible that your ranking will go down and you will be banned by search engines as well.

Hi

Duplicate Content as a Result of Site Architecture
Some examples of site architecture itself leading to duplicate content are as follows:
- Print-friendly pages
- Pages with substantially similar content that can be accessed via different URLs
- Pages with items that are extremely similar, such as a series of differently colored shirts in an e-commerce catalog having similar descriptions
- Pages that are part of an improperly configured affiliate program tracking application

Thanks

Google recently has changed in his algorithm. It's based on more copied content and clearly mentioned if your site is duplicate content then it affects in ranking down and may be banned.

Duplicate contents can hurt the site's ranking and position in the SEs. Even before the change in Google's algorithm, duplicate contents can still affect a site's ranking. Always make sure your content is unique to avoid any penalties.

Thats why content is always king in internet marketing/seo........ suppose if y our pages have duplicate content then it is seen that how many pages have the same content as your site's pages have it is all over the web then absolutely it would not be indexed in Google or other search engines as well. On the other hand, if most of the content is duplicate on your site then it may be removed from search engines as well.

The sites that are creating different duplicate contents are getting targeted and you need to be original with new ideas and contents to get recognized as important sites. The farming of content will not help in getting a better site.
