As I know, Google is a fully automated search engine that uses software known as "spiders" to crawl the web on a regular basis and find sites to add to their index.

The name itself suggests that Google indexing is the process of getting your website indexed by Google. Google updates its index on a regular basis, so updated or outdated link submissions are not necessary.

Google crawling and indexing is processes which can take some time and which rely on many factors. In general, we cannot make predictions or guarantees about when or if your URLs will be crawled or indexed.

Googlebot processes each of the pages it crawls in order to compile a massive index of all the words it sees and their location on each page. In addition, we process information included in key content tags and attributes, such as Title tags and ALT attributes. Googlebot can process many, but not all, content types. For example, it cannot process the content of some rich media files or dynamic pages.

Google indexing means caterpillars have crawled your website and since then Google will display the indexed pages of their websites to their search keywords in the SERP. You can index your web pages more quickly through directory submissions.

Hello Friends..........

Is Google supposed to index an entire site at once or does it do so incrementally? My blog (on my own domain) appears to be getting indexed incrementally, to the point where it’s taken a month to index all 30+ of my pages. Most of those pages were present before I manually submitted my URL to Google. I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong or not doing something I should be doing. Does this have anything to do with my blog being new, or having no external links pointing to it?

Thanks!

From my point of view Google indexing means your website or web page is cached by Google bot or Google robots and when the users search the content then they will get your website or content as the search result.

Google Indexing is actually selft explanatory. The process of Google indexing your website.

Well, I will get into details here. When you create a new websote, it does not just show up in the search engines the next minute. It usually takes time. Google for example takes upto 6 months before they can start crawling your website. This is because the Google spider or crawlers are always busy.

Google always remains in top position than all other major search engines. Google does not have paid submission or inclusion results with its organic listings. Google does not take more than 1 week for indexing.Where other search engines take a lot of time for indexing.

Google indexing is an excellent way in which you can get noticed and get traffic as popular search engines are used mostly by all to search for websites. Other ways to get noticed could also work but nothing will work better in generating traffic than by getting listed in search results of popular search engines.

Indexing is the processing of the pages scanned and is what creates the index that uses Google to give results when you search.
So Google Index is mean that your site been crawl by Google Robot . If your site do not index by Google , you might need to submit sitemap in webmastertool, do some backlink from high index site, or ping your site.

Hi,

Google Indexing is a index as we have it in Our books where Google stores each and every word in a form on Index, and later on when we search for it , it retrieves it from the stored Index.

Thanks

Google Indexing/Crawling is the process where the Googlebot goes around from website to website, finding new and updated information to report back to Google. The Googlebot finds what to crawl using links.
