Can someone who is using OScommerce or a spin off cart, please suggest a host to me? We are running Go Daddy right now and we are having problems getting OScommerce to install on their server. Any help would be great!
Thanks!

osCommerce is an open source, front-to-back, on-line shop. From the minute you sign up online, your in control. Design your site’s skin, direct traffic, manage payments and order fulfillment from a user-friendly, owner’s console.

Webhostingpad would be an another option to you.
I know santrex.net to have this software included and supported.
Another host I can recommend for the use is hostingsource.com.

You must create a database user and database before installing osCommerce. Then click on the MySQL database server (the database icon in the 1 st §). Create a new database, then create a new database user. Add a user to the database. And this is all part of the db.

You should be very careful while choosing the hosting provider if you wish to start a E-commerce based website. The Hosting provider should provide Secured hosting services. The server on which your website is hosted much be secured enough to prevent your website from DDOS, Hacking or any other malicious activity. The hosting provider should also backup their servers frequently and should provide you with the latest backup if demanded. There should be a 24X7 Technical support offered because, as you are running a Online shop and if your website goes down for some reason, the hosting provider should immediately start working on it and should try to bring it up asap because if the website is down for more time, you might loose a good amount of money.

Godaddy has never been the best. I think it would be more reasonable to get service from the companies having the stable eCommerce plans, such as santrex.net or the suggested above hostingsource.com.
