How can I upload GIF files to blog ?

I am trying to ad GIF files to my blog. Whenever I am updating the file is converting to JPEG. Any one can give suggestions ?

gif format to add images to upload your images a thing *. gif to one of the photo-sharing sites like flickr.com or Picasa and copy the URL from there and mark your Blogger account and click the Add button image, use the web address instead of URL to download from your computer and paste the URL (link )..... and now you can see your *. gif works well

why don't you use external web hosting to upload your gifs on it?
imageshack.us for example?!

Can you also tell us what blog platform that you are using?

Example: self hosted wordpress, blogger...etc

If you are using google blogger blog,

1. Make a new post.
2. Just upload your gif animation as you upload an image.

To Add Gif Images / Animations To Post On Blogger
STEP #1: You have to upload your gifs to some image hosting sites like Photobucket, Socail Bookmarking Site and more. you may google out them using "images hosting sites" keywords

STEP#2: After Uploading you'll get every gif's specific link. Copy it and then paste a simple HTML tag in your post body < img src = "image_url" atl "Alternative_Text" />

You are using FTP to upload your file?

If you are using wordpress then change your media uploader.

You need upload your gif on any image upload hosting then embed into your post

You can try either uploading it to to your own server or image hosting service (eg: imgur.com) and then use the direct link for it.
