Social Media Marketing can just increase the traffic to your website it can not improve your search rank positions in the search engines. so these are interlink with each other but Social media should never powerful than SEO.

No as u have to keep doing social media activities than only u can see its results while SEO provides you long term results

As my opinion social media is not powerful than SEO but it’s helpful in SEO terms. By use of social media we can generate traffic on our website and use of both (SEO and Social media) to gather is helpful for our business. If you think to get more targeted visitors on your website for your product then you can use social media because it is a good way to get more visitors for particular products and services.
