What is SSC?

I have heard about the SSC optimization once or twice but I don't get it except what phrase they stand for(S: SEO, S: SMO, C: CRO). Can anyone give me a roughly definition of these and how to use it to promote our marketing?

Why does Chris's version run so fast? Because it uses 3DNow! 3DNow is an example of a SIMD (Single Instruction, Multiple Data) instruction set, which lets you execute the same operation on multiple pieces of data simultaneously. Intel provides its own SIMD instructions, called SSE (Streaming SIMD Extensions), which are available on the Pentium 3 and up. SSE lets you perform operations on four 32-bit floats in parallel! (The Pentium 4's SSE2 instructions provide similar operations for 64-bit doubles, but most graphics applications don't need the extra precision).
