1) Alexa starts showing ranking graph when you get into the top 100k sites.

3) In the top 100k only 100k sites are there. So it’s quite an achievement.

4) Alexa sells top 25k, 100k etc. site lists. Now they are also giving away these lists for free download. Various companies go through these lists, generate business opportunities and buys advertising. If your site is in these lists, then it may create additional revenue streams for you. Alexa ranking is shows your site's traffic. As much as this rank is high, the less your traffic of the website has. It means 1 ranked website has highest traffic. Alexa toolbar is used for show Alexa ranks. Some people means Alexa rank is not important than Google page rank. It is also true.
