Wonderful post.I completely agree with you that basic purpose of seo is to increase the website traffic and ranking.It is the process of optimizing any web page for specific set of keywords.

seo is not only about ranking but marketing too. You need to bring your website the traffic and sales you wish it to have so seo is a lot of work and much time needs to be spent on it.
