As we can see Google result is shrinking so we need to lift our work and now its not all about to get better result in SERP, now every one need traffic. So we should change our working strategy.

Somewhat I agree with you, but still SERP play the major role in website ranking as well as into sales revenues. You are right that every one need traffic, but targeted traffic is more important.
