Do you know any reliable hosting company which offers web hosting plans optimized for forums?
I need about 5-10GB of space, 100GB bandwidth, etc.
What hosting solution should I buy? What companies can you recommend me?
Found out that glowhost.com has quite a good reputation for providing hosting services..
But how can it be good for running vBulletin boards? Any comments on them?

(If you know any discounts on their services, please share them with me.)

You can choose any host, as long as you know your application. VBulletin is database intensive, MySQL is not thread safe and when you have queries they will be performed on one core, this means that the faster the CPU the better, not necessarily the number of cores. The second most important factor is how many i-ops the server can do, this is how many reads/writes per second the disk can perform. Typically, VPS servers have a lot less i-ops comparing to dedicated servers, this is one of the main reasons why dedicated servers perform better when it comes to MySQL. You can improve vBulletin performance with memcache and increasing some of the MySQL buffers, this means you will have to get some extra memory. Now, when you decide to choose a host keep in mind the above.

If you are looking for trustworthy hosting provider I recommend you to get web hosting (http://www.hostome.com/) plans from Hostome.com. You will get high stability and performance for a reasonable pricing.

vBulletin can at times be a heavy script once your website starts getting busy. You have taken a great step in having a great community (choosing vBulletin over the rest) however now you need to find the right hosting provider. Try to weed out those fly by night hosts. Make a list, go down the list and figure out which provider meets your needs, and go from there.

I can mention that glowhost.com specializes in delivering vBulletin forum hosting solutions.
vBulletin is a powerful, scalable and fully customizable forums package for your web site.
It is THE BEST deal on the web for vBulletin web hosting. They install the system free of charge ($150 value if installation is performed by vBulletin.com) and they purchase a license of the vBulletin forum software for your domain name.

VBullentin is a solid choice. Now, please make sure you choose a solid host. As others have mentioned VBullentin can be heavy on the scripts. There may come a time when you need good support to deal with those types of issues. Look at some solid and real reviews of providers that have good longevity and excellent customer and technical support.

You can make list of various host, its best to see the reviews before choosing any host, any host as that is the only way to go with ,I suggest you to start with a low budget, and optimize your website, when you feel you have enough traffic and your website seem to be busy , then move on to vps or dedicated server.

VB hosting? URLJet is the specialist, best my a long margin. They provide the license, upgrade, install plugins and lot more. However, they are a LOT expensive compared to typical shared hosts.
