Look out competitor niche keywords and follow them .
You can check it with alexa and find out the top rank keywords search for competitors.
Or you try to search on alternative keywords because high search keywords not necessaries high conversion.

Keyword selection criteria involves
-Competitiveness
-Monthly searches
-Relevance
-Profitability
Check your keyword for all the above factors. I prefer “keyword country” to find to find profitable niches.
