No Google cannot correctly read the content on flash pages, you want a static html or css file for them. Stay away from making flash sites, incorporate into your design or something if needed but build your content website with CSS or HTML. It indexes and is validated a lot better by search engines and browsers.

Had better add less flash on your site. Google usually can not crawl it directly. Even flash is better for visitors' attention.

Yes! I think now google can easily read flash animations and easily do the searching. As lot of work is done to search anything from videos or flash animation. Similarly youtube and google have done lot of things about this issue of reading flash animation...
