Here are five simple On Page SEO tips and how to maximize each of them:On Page SEO Advice:
1 Title Tags: website source code header between the elements. For writing compelling and
interesting title tags, title lengths should be limited to 65 characters. The title should consist of 2 or 3
keyword phrases. Longer phrases are more advantageous than shorter ones. Separator characters like
bar or pipe, hyphens, arrow, and commas should also be used. Make sure the title reflects everything
that can be found on the webpage.
2 Heading Tags:Is used to advise the search engines about what the content of an article or webpage
is going to be about. The heading of your webpage would be most likely a H1 tag, and sub heading as
you progress down the page would be an H2 or H3. Make sure the heading is relevant to the
paragraph below.
3 Keyword Density: This is very important in achieving high page ranking in search engines such as
Yahoo and Google. Article directories have different requirements for keyword density but the ideal
Keyword stuffing should be avoided to avoid identifying the article as spam.
4 Anchored Keyword Inter linking: It is a good technique to use anchor text links within blog posts in
order to spread the link throughout the website.
5 Image SEO: For the SEO to be effective in using file images, one should take into account the
surrounding text which will help the visitors know more about the image posted. Renaming the image

On Page SEO is more important than Off Page SEO. If you manage to get some good position for selected keywords but the page don't even contain that term which people searched for(your keyword), how long can search engines keep the site on the top of their priority? I think It will slip down or may be won't even be able to come up if there are serious lack of On Page SEO.
