what is RSS Feed and its benefit ?

RSS simplifies communication between publishers and visitors. Webmasters have been examining and using RSS feeds to bring content in new and inventive ways. Generally, RSS feeds contain information claims and content summaries. The content summaries contain just enough information without aggravating individuals with needless information. If the reader is attracted and wants further information they can click on the item in the feed, accessing the website which contains extra details.

The largest advantage of RSS is that individuals opt-in to content of significance, completely controlling the stream of information that they obtain. If the value of the content in the feed declines, users simply remove the feed from their RSS reader and they will not obtain any extra updates from that resource.
