One of the most important parts of paid inclusion campaigns, the conversion rate of a website is the measurement of the success of a paid inclusion campaign. A conversion rate is measured by the number of potential visitors performing the desired action, whether the action is buying a product, filling out a form, or some other goal of the web page. For example, if there are 100 visitors to a particular web page via a pay per click ad, and one of those 100 buys the product the website sells, then the conversion rate for that particular ad is one percent

Your conversion rate is the percentage of people who your advertisement sells, compared to the total number of people exposed to it. You may have heard of the “sales conversion rate.” Well the conversion rate is the same thing, only not necessarily with sales.

Conversion rate is the process of the number of desired actions divides by total website visits that is called conversion rate. Suppose if there are 1000 visitors to a particular web page through PPC ads, and one of those 100 buys the product then the conversion rate for that particular ad is 0.10%.

A conversion rate is a measurement, also often referred to as a metric, which is defined as the percentage of visitors who take or complete a desired action.

This is probably the most important metric you can measure. By measuring a percentage of visitors you can guage how well or how badly your website is doing regardless of traffic levels.

The number of sales made compared to the number of clicks your advert or keyword generates, expressed as a percentage. The longer the time period measured, the more accurate and robust a conversion rate or conversion % is.

The larger the conversion rate of a web page means the more successful the website will be as well as how successful the paid inclusion campaign is.

Good post. Conversion rate is the method of improving the effectiveness of a marketing message. It is most commonly combined with direct response marketing.

In what context? From a marketing perspective where you have a website where you sell stuff. It is the orders / visits = conversion rate. In other words; how many percent of your visitors who order something from your website.
