Hi Everyone,
Following are some useful guidelines for good on-page seo :

1. Make sure that all of your web pages can be indexed by search engines - make sure that they all have at least one link from somewhere on your site.

2. Make sure that you label all of your images with descriptive alt attributes.

3. Make sure that you make good use of anchor text links within your content - if you have a page about blue widgets, use the phrase blue widgets in the text that links to it.

3. Make sure that there is only one version of your site - 301 redirect all non www(dot) URLs to the www(dot) ones or vice versa.

The content of a page is what makes it worthy of a search result position. It is what the user came to see and is thus extremely important to the search engines. As such, it is important to create good content.

In SEO perspective, there is no difference between the best and worst content on the Internet if it is not linkable. Link is very important in content, if it is not there then that will be waste.
