I really don't know the difference between search engine submission and search engine optimization but I really want to know about this.

There are much difference between search engine optimization and search engine submission. Search engine optimization means you have to create some activities to get good ranking in search engines like Meta tags like Meta description, keywords, title etc. and also robots.txt and sitemaps. As off page optimization you have to submit your unique content into blog posting, article posting, PR posting, froum posting, comments etc. At other site search engine submission is the one step of the search engine optimization.
