I've had my properties hosted at Host Gator for almost 4 years now. I can tell you, I have no intentions of leaving. The company is sweet and simple, yet strong, solid, and stable.
Support has gotten a lot better over the year or so, not that I use it often. Most of their months average 100% uptime. Great for starters who just want to pay month to month, and great for large traffic or media sites who needs dedicated servers.
