Site Map is important for each and every websites. It is not just useful for the visitors of the site but also helpful for the search engine crawlers too. Now, many of us want to know that the impact of the site map on the SEO. Well, it is to be said that site map is really impactful as the search engine crawler is involved in this. Site map helps in fast website index into the search engine as crawler can easily get all the links of the site from this page of a particular website. Is there are any other added benefit of the Site map? Please mention.

Site maps helps the search engine to find the site and information about that site.

Sitemap are necessary for every website by which search engine's crawler can crawl our website and in result our website is listed in SERP. So we should have to upload Sitemap of search engines in root directory of website.

Aside from search engine crawlers, sitemaps also helps the users navigate the site quickly. The users I am referring to are the web researchers. I had a gig before wherein I had to generate a list of websites that does not have a career page. The first thing I would do is to check the homepage for a "Career" button but if there is none the sitemap helps out.

A sitemap has a benefit for the search engines as well. This sitemap will let the Google robot see how pages, such as those in the fourth and fifth level, fit into your site. If you link to your sitemap page from your homepage, all of the pages listed in your sitemap will be no farther from your home page than the third level. This will encourage Google to index your entire site.
