These are two attributes of any website. Do-follow means Google crawler will do visit that site no-follow means Google Crawler will not visit that website. Do follow links are consider as a back links from Google.

Dofollow doesn't really exist in the first place. It's just a term used to refer to the opposite of the nofollow attribute. Dofollow links pass link juice from the source to the link's target, while nofollow links don't.

Jashandeep has described very well about dofollow and nofollow and I think we didn't need to describe it more.

Dofollow link will give a link juice as backlink of another website where nofollow website will not share the link juice. The backlink of dofollow will increase website ranking on search engine. The “rel” attribute is used in the nofollow link, in this “rel” attribute relation is generating nofollow so search engine crawler will not follow for this kind of link. The dofollow link doesn't use any kind of “real” attribute to define this link is dofollow.

Do-Follow and No-Follow are link attributes. If we get Do-Follow links it means link juice directly flow from another website to our website. No-Follow links are used to stop passing of link juice but it is practically impossible to stop PR passing. It always flows.
